Radom Air Show set to return in 2025


Military Property Agency the organizers of the Radom Air Show have announced that the event will return in 2025. The next Air Show will traditionally take place on the last weekend of August and will coincide with the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Eaglet School.

The Military Property Agency is now starting preparations for the next, 18th edition of this event. Vice-President of the Council of Ministers, Minister of National Defense Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz agreed to organize the Air Show next year. The Radom Air Show, which has been held for many years as part of the Aviation Day celebrations, is tentatively scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, August 30 and 31, 2025, said AMW spokeswoman Malgorzata Weber.

The 18th edition of the International Air Show Radom 2025 will take place on the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the "School of Eaglets" (1925) - the current Military Aviation Academy in Deblin.

The agency, which is the main organizer of the Radom shows, will be supported - as in previous years - by the General Command of the Armed Forces, which is responsible for cooperation with the army, including the organization of the static exhibition, the Air Show program and the invitation of foreign display teams, and cooperating entities.

Similarly to 2023, the Military Property Agency plans, in cooperation with military museums, to organize a special educational and historical zone with thematic exhibitions and field games, as well as a town for children. The official ambassador of the Radom Air Show is the Radom-based Aerobatic Team Orlik.

Since 2005 the Air Show has been organised every other year during the last weekend of August, military and civilian aircraft from across the world gather in Radom for the show, which entertains over 200,000 visitors during the two days.

The last edition of the Radom International Airshow took place in 2023 and celebrated the 90th anniversary of the successful transatlantic solo flight of Capt. Stanislaw Skarzynski. The program, which included nearly 20 hours of air displays, featured pilots and display teams from 17 countries as well as an air parade of aircraft belonging to the Polish Armed Forces consisting of 19 formations and 67 aircraft. For the first time ever on Saturday, there was a night show that featured an exciting blend of civilian and military acts

An additional attraction was a race between an Edge 540 plane, piloted by champion Lukasz Czepiela, with a Formula 1 car, driven by the legendary "The Stig" - racing driver and stuntman Ben Collins from Top Gear.
