Frédéric Akary and Europe’s only flying F-86 Sabre have joined The Flying Bulls, taking one of the continent’s rarest Cold War jets into a new chapter with the iconic Austrian fleet.

The Náměšť Air Base Open Day 2026 flying programme has been revealed, with Czech, Slovak and Spanish aircraft set to take part in a busy day of helicopter displays, fast jet flypasts, parachute activity and static exhibits.
