European Airshows is a volunteer-run aviation media platform covering airshows, display teams, aircraft and the people behind them through news, photography, video, previews and reviews.
The organisation
It began as one page. The idea never changed.
European Airshows started in October 2017 as a small Facebook page run by its founder, Przemek Zachwieja. What began as a place to share aviation photography gradually became something much wider, following the airshow season across Europe and keeping enthusiasts up to date with the events, aircraft and people behind it.
Today, the website and social channels bring together fast event updates, detailed previews, an extensive airshow calendar, original photography and video, plus reviews and longer features from events across Europe. The focus is on coverage that is useful before an event and still worth coming back to afterwards.
The organisation remains volunteer-run and non-profit. Everyone involved gives their time because they care about the airshow scene and want to represent it properly, from headline display teams and rare aircraft to organisers, ground crews, engineers and the smaller details that make each event different.
European Airshows is not built around one country or one type of flying. The aim is to follow the season as a whole and give European events the depth of coverage they deserve.

Przemek founded European Airshows in 2017 and oversees the website, editorial coverage and social channels. His interest in aviation began at a young age and later led him to volunteer with the Ulster Aviation Society, helping with the restoration and preservation of historic aircraft and engines.
