  • European Airshows, a small Facebook page initiated in October 2017, was managed single-handedly by its founder. Over the years, it has grown steadily, attracting aviation enthusiasts from around the world to join its online community.

  • An Entirely non-profit organization, dedicated to promoting the thrill and wonder of Airshows, is operated solely by volunteers who possess an ardent passion for aviation displays.

  • Our Facebook page has successfully gathered a significant following of over 100,000 people. Our regular posts manage to engage a broad audience, with each reaching an impressive 50 million individuals every month.

  • Promote the excellence, importance and safety of European airshows to aviation fans all around the world.

  • Inspire the next generation of young people to consider careers in aviation.

  • Provide quality content of videos and photos from the Airshows across Europe.

  • The European Airshows team consists of 7 members, each bringing a unique skill set to the table. Our dedicated group includes talented photographers capturing breathtaking moments, skilled videographers bringing the action to life, and experienced writers crafting engaging stories for our audience to enjoy.

Founder & Photographer

From an early age, his fascination with aviation led him to volunteer at the Ulster Aviation Society, where he dedicated his time to the restoration and preservation of various historic aircraft and engines, playing a vital role in showcasing Northern Ireland's rich aviation heritage. His passion for aviation deepened, and in 2016, he ventured into aviation photography, capturing the beauty and essence of flight through his lens.

Admin & Public Relations

At a young age, she attended her first airshow in Portrush, Northern Ireland. Watching The Red Arrows perform filled her with awe, igniting a dream within her to soar as an RAF pilot. However, as she grew older, health challenges arose, dimming this aspiration. Adapting to circumstances, she veered onto a new career trajectory. Nonetheless, her unwavering love for aviation continued to fuel her spirit.

His passion for aviation blossomed with the captivating stories from his grandfather, a former member of the Belgian Air Force. It was during the year 1998 when he first set foot in an airshow, an experience that ignited an insatiable love for all things aviation. Commencing his career as an Aviation photographer at the tender age of 12, he continues to be enamored by the roar of aircraft engines and the mesmerizing displays that unfold before his lens at airshows, evoking goosebumps even to this day.

Rene is an Airshow enthusiast who harbours a particular fascination for military jets. Not only does he display fervour for these aerial spectacles, but he also boasts a remarkable proficiency in aviation photography, honed over more than a decade. While his primary area of interest lies in Czechia's vibrant airshow scene, his presence is also a familiar sight at various aviation events across Central Europe.

An aviation enthusiast since the age of nine, he has been captivated by the magic of flight and finds himself immersed in the world of airshows, never missing a chance to witness the thrill up close. Alongside his passion for aviation, he has honed his photography skills to capture the essence of these spectacular events, becoming a respected figure in the field since 2011. Engaged in the aviation community, he is an active member of two prominent associations in Switzerland, contributing his expertise and enthusiasm to propel his love for flying further. Noteworthy is his involvement in the meticulous restoration of one of the revered Dewoitine D.26 aircraft, a rare and treasured endeavour that underscores his commitment to preserving aviation history.

His fascination with flying transcends ordinary bounds as he finds solace in viewing the world from the lofty vantage point of an aircraft. Constantly consumed by thoughts of airplanes, he embodies a true aficionado of the skies.
