The Tiger's Army Parachute Display Team will not be performing in 2024.

The highly acclaimed Tigers Army Parachute Display Team, renowned for their jaw-dropping aerial shows, has made an announcement that they will not be performing in 2024.

The Tigers Army Parachute Display Team, which is part of the Princess of Wales Royal Regiment, will not be performing this year due to the British Army's decision to reform its official parachute display teams. This decision was made as part of a larger effort to streamline operations and optimize resources.

The Tigers Army Parachute Display Team has been a popular feature at many UK and European airshows, wowing audiences with their breathtaking displays of freefall work and parachute skills. Comprised of experienced military parachutists, the team has performed a wide range of manoeuvres, including solo displays, synchronized aerial routines, and complex formations.

Despite the disappointment of many fans, the Tigers Army Parachute Display Team has expressed understanding and support for the British Army's decision. They remain committed to their mission of promoting the excellence and professionalism of the regiment and the wider British Armed Forces. While they will not be performing this year, they look forward to returning to the skies in the near future.

The Official statement:

“Hello everyone, we would like to start by saying thank you for following us and supporting us throughout the years. We simply could not do what we do, without every single one of you supporting us, so thank you.

There's no easy way to say it but The Tigers Army Parachute Display Team will not be displaying due to a reform of the Army parachute display teams for 2024/2025. We simply do not know what the future holds, however we remain positive.

Confirmation of this change will be sent via email to all show organisers. If you need to speak to us urgently please contact frank.millerick467@mod.gov.uk Please look forward to season 2025/2026 where we hope to be part of an Army team in the future.

We are hopeful to still be competing, maintaining currency and conducting our tandem jumps. You will be contacted if you have made a tandem booking, if you have any concerns in the meantime please contact tandems@thetigersfft.co.uk

We welcome any photos you have of us displaying at events and we will genuinely take time in looking through and responding to any messages you have for us.
