RADOM AIRSHOW TO RETURN IN 2023

The Radom International Air Show (Polish: Miedzynarodowe Pokazy Lotnicze „Air Show Radom“) is a biannual celebration in the city of Radom, Poland, which began in 2000 (to continue in 2001, 2002, 2003 and then 2005).

Since 2005 the airshow is organised every other year during the last weekend of August, military and civilian aircraft from across the world gather in Radom for the show, which entertains over 200,000 visitors during the two days.

The last edition of the Radom International Airshow took place in 2018 and celebrated the 100th anniversary of the Polish Air Force. The Radom Airshow was due to return in 2021 however the ongoing construction works at the Radom Airport prevented the event from taking place and instead a small “picnic” took place to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the 42 Training Aviation Base in Radom.

Yesterday (23rd of April) the Deputy Minister of National Defence of Poland Wojciech Skurkiewicz announced that after a five-year absence Poland's biggest airshow will return in 2023. The event is planned for the 26-27 of August 2023 and the program is to be exceptionally rich.

“Preparations for the Radom Airshow are entering the final phase. We are starting our planning early so that next year in the sky of Radom we can admire not only the most modern aircraft but also the breathtaking shows of the aerobatic teams from all over the world.”
