Lann-Bihoué 2026 Unveils Major Line-Up Update Featuring Phantom, Tornado and Extensive French Navy Presence
Meeting Lann-Bihoué 2026 has released a significant update to its participating aircraft list, revealing one of the most diverse and operationally rich line-ups currently confirmed for the European season.
The scale and balance of the update stands out immediately. Alongside a dense French Navy presence on both the flying and static sides, the event is set to feature high-profile fast jet displays including the Hellenic Air Force F-4 Phantom and German Air Force Tornado, backed by a strong mix of maritime patrol, training, transport and historic aircraft.

Fast Jet Highlights Lead the Flying Display
At the top of the billing is the Hellenic Air Force F-4 Phantom, confirmed for both flying and static participation. With the type now in its final years of operational service in Greece, its continued presence on the European display circuit remains increasingly limited, making each appearance notable.
Germany’s Panavia Tornado also joins the flying programme, bringing a type that is steadily approaching the end of its Luftwaffe career. In operational terms, the Tornado continues to serve in strike and reconnaissance roles, and its display appearances now carry clear end-of-era significance.
Adding further modern weight to the flying display is the German Navy’s P-8A Poseidon. As one of the newest maritime patrol platforms entering European service, its inclusion reflects the ongoing transition away from legacy systems such as the P-3 Orion. Seeing the Poseidon in a flying role at an airshow remains relatively uncommon.
French naval aviation is strongly represented in the air, with the Rafale Marine, E-2C Hawkeye, Atlantique 2, Falcon 50M and Falcon 10M all confirmed across flying and static roles. Together, they provide a rare and comprehensive snapshot of current French maritime air power, from carrier-based operations to long-range surveillance and support.
Rare Polish Aircraft Strengthen the Static Line
The static display brings its own standout moments, particularly with a group of Polish Air Force aircraft that are rarely seen outside their home country.
The Leonardo M-346 Bielik and FA-50GF Golden Eagle are both listed for static presentation. The M-346 serves as Poland’s advanced jet trainer, while the FA-50GF represents a newer light combat capability now entering service. Both types are still building their presence across European events, making their inclusion here especially notable.
They are joined by a broader Polish contingent including the C-130 Hercules, PZL-130 Orlik and PZL M28 Skytruck, creating one of the more complete national representations on the static line.
French Navy Dominance Across the Airfield
Lann-Bihoué’s identity as a key French naval air base is reflected heavily throughout the line-up. In addition to the fast jet and surveillance assets, rotary and support platforms including the NH90, Panther and Dauphin are confirmed, alongside transport and liaison types such as the Xingu and Jetstream 41.
The combined presence of these aircraft offers a rare opportunity to see the breadth of French naval aviation in one place, from frontline combat aircraft through to support and training platforms.
Historic Aircraft Add Depth to the Programme
The historic component is equally extensive, with a long list of flying participants covering multiple eras of aviation.
Highlights include the Junkers Ju 52, Douglas DC-3, Nord Noratlas, Conair Turbo Firecat and Breguet XIV, alongside classic warbirds such as the Supermarine Spitfire RM927, F4U Corsair and P-51 Mustang “Miss Ava”. Early jet representation comes from the de Havilland Vampire, while French-built types such as the Morane-Saulnier MS.406, Flamant and Alizé add further national context.
Aerobatic aircraft including the CAP 10, CAP 222 and Extra 300 ensure a continuous flying rhythm throughout the day.
While the aircraft list is now extensive, the full flying programme and display sequence are still to be finalised, with timings expected closer to the event.
Even at this stage, Meeting Lann-Bihoué 2026 is shaping into one of the strongest French-based events of the season, combining frontline military aviation, rare international visitors and a deep historic line-up with a clear operational backbone.
