Mistral Warbirds

Mistral Warbirds, a company passionate about fighter warbirds since 2008, has showcased aircraft like the Hawker Sea Fury and P-51D Mustang "Moonbeam McSwine" across Europe’s top airshows. Since 2019, they’ve operated the F-86 Sabre Mk6, the only airworthy example in Europe. This iconic jet, famous for its 10:1 kill ratio against the MiG-15 in the Korean War, was built for the Luftwaffe and later served in the USA. Piloted by Frédéric Akary, with over 17,000 flight hours and extensive airshow experience, it’s maintained at their facility in Avignon, France.

In 2025, the F-86 Sabre will perform at 9 events across France, the UK, and Belgium. From Saint-Yan to Duxford and Sanicole, this rare jet—one of only 12 airworthy worldwide—will thrill aviation enthusiasts with its power and history.
