Royal Navy Black Cats

The Royal Navy Helicopter Display Team, the Royal Navy Black Cats, are back for the 2026 display season. This year’s programme focuses on solo displays, bringing a different look to the routine while keeping the signature Wildcat agility in the air. The 2026 team features display pilot Jim Fraser, supported by head of engineering Nick Hulland and display observer Olie Mendham. Tom Pethick also returns for his second season, taking part in selected displays. The planned Royal International Air Tattoo appearance was cancelled after the 2026 event itself was cancelled.
