After a challenging 2024 season marked by significant setbacks—including the Dakota undergoing extensive maintenance, the BBMF emerging from maintenance late in the year, Merlin-powered fighters grounded following a tragic crash, and the Griffon-powered Spitfire only flying post-airshow season—the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight is set to make a triumphant return in 2025. This season, audiences can expect awe-inspiring displays featuring the iconic Lancaster, Dakota, and the legendary fighters Spitfires and Hurricanes, showcasing their historic legacy across the UK, Channel Islands, France, and Belgium.
