Event Overview

Free entry • Two packed days

Air & Ground Programme

The weekend combines solo and formation displays, tactical demonstrations, historic formations, flypasts and an extensive static aircraft line-up.

100 Years of Flygvapnet

The official theme is past, present and future, covering heritage types, current aircraft and next-generation capability.

Future Systems

The official Future section also mentions drones and satellites. They are noted here rather than shown as aircraft cards because no individual systems have been named.

Family Event

Future Crew, Little Air Show, Armed Forces Expo, Total Defence Expo and music performances are all listed as part of the wider visitor programme.

Subject To Change

Airshow participation can change at short notice because of weather, serviceability and operational requirements. Reserve display aircraft are identified on their individual cards.

Travel Information

Public transport strongly recommended

Free Shuttle Buses

Free shuttle buses are planned between Järnvägsavenyn at Linköping Resecentrum / Central Station and the event area on both days. First shuttle from the station is listed as 07:00 and the last shuttle from the event area is listed as 19:00. Buses are marked “Flygdagarna” and stop around 100 metres from the entrance.

Public Transport

Visitors arriving from outside Linköping are advised to travel to Linköping Resecentrum and then use the free shuttle buses to the event.

Avoid Driving

The organiser warns that roads around Malmen are expected to be heavily loaded and very long traffic queues are expected.

Parking

Parking opens 06:30–20:00. Visitors may need to walk up to 3 km from parking to the event area. Some remote parking will have free buses.

Cycling & Walking

Cycle paths lead to the area and dedicated bicycle parking will be available near the Air Force Museum. Bring a lock.

The organiser states there will be no access to electric car charging in the event parking areas.

Visitor Information

Plan for a long outdoor day

Bags & Entry

No bag ban is currently listed, but bag searches will take place at the entrance. There is no possibility to lock in valuables.

Mobile Coverage

Large crowds may overload the mobile network. Agree meeting points in advance and do not rely fully on mobile data.

Cold food and coffee will be available. Payment is card-only; the organiser says not to rely on Apple Pay / Google Pay because of mobile coverage.

Bring your own water bottle. Water stations are planned so visitors can refill bottles inside the area.
